Dr. Luc Versavel started his own practice located on his farm near Stonewall, MB in 1985. Equi-Tech Veterinary Services, Inc. began as primarily an equine practice, but has seen many changes in the animal distribution over the years. Once Dr. Neil Versavel joined the practice in 2009, the father and son duo were able to expand their large animal services. Over the next several years, the request for small animal services increased substantially, and in 2016 Dr. Valerie Millette, Dr. Neil’s wife, joined the family business providing exclusively small animal services.
In 2022, Drs Neil and Valerie took over the reigns, and re-named the practice Equi-Tech Veterinary Mixed Animal Hospital to better reflect the patient base. The business is now in it’s second generation, and continues to be family owned and operated.
