Rehabilitation

Canine rehabilitation uses therapeutic exercises to stretch and strengthen the soft tissues of the body, aiding in recovery from sprains/strains, surgery, obesity and arthritis. Dr. Murray is working towards specialty certification in canine rehabilitation.

A rehab program starts with a thorough assessment of your pet. Then a program created to promote healing and strengthening for your pet’s specific issue. Programs typically last 6-8 weeks and involve weekly visits to monitor improvement and discuss new exercises. Programs can be adjusted to suit both the patient and the owner’s needs.
